The Bristol Museums Development Trust is a registered charity
through which funds are raised to complete the capital funding
required for M Shed and, thereafter, for the benefit of the wider
Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives service. As a registered
charity, all donations made by UK taxpayers are eligible for Gift
Aid, increasing your support by 25%.
Objects
The objects of the organisation are to support for the benefit of
the public the building, establishment and maintenance of museums,
galleries and archives of artefacts, art, documents and other
associated material in Bristol, including M Shed.
Activities
The organisation is primarily a grant-making organisation. making
grants to Bristol's Museums, Galleries and Archives. The Trustees
of the Bristol Museums Development Trust Board are responsible for
the governance of the Trust
