Where possible this should be independent of roads, such that the cyclist feels safe. Furthermore, hefty fines and charges should be introduced to ensure that cycle lanes currently on roads are not blocked through deliveries - as this leads to a far more dangerous enviroment to both cycle and drive in. More should be done to allow this city to live up to its so called cycling city name. Though there have been many improvements recently, there is a long way to go to change the method of transport to tend to cycling and walking for travel within the city.posted on 04 March 2012abbieyes, because it is safer and it helps the environmentposted on 03 March 2012Rosie HatfieldI think that in Stockwood there should be more bike lanes near the schoolposted on 03 March 2012LyddieI definately would if I went to work but I am 12 so I still go to school at the moment.
